Buffalo Filter built a new building and was looking to install a great looking epoxy floor for their manufacturing area. The problem was all of the quotes from flooring contractors were over thier budget. The solution was:

1. They contacted Concrete Restoration Inc. to get a floor quote and some advice.
2. We suggested a single coat flooring application using the Diama Brush on a floor scrubber to prepare the concrete for coating adhesion
3. High Wear urethane was the coating application of choice because of its chemical resistance, satin sheen, and durability.
4. One of our tech reps came out and taught their people the actual application

Litron of Agawam, Massachusetts purchased a building in the Agawam Industrial Park. The building’s floors were in rough shape and needed to be rehabbed. We know the area well and knew if the concrete floor did not have a vapor under it, there was a good chance that the slab might have vapor drive issues.  Here is how we handled this project solving their vapor issues and making their floor look “World Class” improving their company image!

• We test the floor for water vapor doing humidity Tests, our finding told us that the moisture was high- 80%
• We shot blasted the floor leaving a heavy profile to the floor.
• We installed a epoxy vapor reduction system
• The floor was sanded light to remove any debris
• We appled on coat of 100% solids epoxy at a nominal 16 mils DFT.
• The floor was sanded to remove any debris.
• A final Coat of  high Wear urethane was applied. This urethane is chemical resistant and provides a much better wear surface than epoxies.
